Graduate Operations Manager (Property & Social Housing)
Location: Milton Keynes with on site visits mandatory
Salary: Competitive + Development Opportunities
Looking for a career, not just your first job?
- We're looking for an ambitious graduate who wants to build a long-term career in property and social housing.
- This isn't a role where you'll spend years making coffee or sitting in meetings. From day one you'll be trusted with real responsibility, working alongside senior leaders and helping shape how we deliver services to our residents, local authority partners and wider communities.
- We're not expecting you to know everything about housing.
- What matters is your attitude, your ability to organise people and projects, and your desire to learn.
- If you're someone who enjoys solving problems, building relationships and taking ownership, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing
As our Graduate Operations Manager, you'll support and lead key operational areas including:
- Building and maintaining relationships with existing and prospective local authority partners.
- Helping deliver an outstanding customer service experience.
- Coordinating property voids to ensure homes are ready for new residents as efficiently as possible.
- Supporting the day-to-day management and organisation of the office.
- Working with colleagues across the business to improve systems and processes.
- Supervising projects and coordinating teams to deliver excellent outcomes.
- Taking ownership of operational improvements as your experience grows.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has recently completed (or is about to complete) a degree such as Business Management, Property, Real Estate, Economics, Geography, Project Management, Leadership & Management or another relevant subject.
- Is highly organised and enjoys planning and coordinating multiple priorities.
- Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Can think independently and solve problems.
- Wants to develop into a future operational leader.
- Has supervised, led or coordinated people through work, university, retail, hospitality, sport, volunteering or other environments.
- Is comfortable taking responsibility and learning quickly.
- Experience in property or housing isn't essential.
What will make you stand out?
We're far more interested in your potential than your CV.
Maybe you've:
- Led a university society.
- Managed a team in retail or hospitality.
- Organised events.
- Coordinated volunteers.
- Captained a sports team.
- Run your own project or small business.
- Taken responsibility beyond what your job title suggested.
Tell us about it.
Why join us?
Social housing changes lives.
Every efficient process, every strong relationship with a council and every property turned around quickly helps someone move into a safe, secure home.
You'll receive mentoring, genuine responsibility and the opportunity to build a career across operations, property and leadership.
